To use your $6,000 rebate at Stan’s, the "new-to-you" vehicle must be one of the following:

Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs): The best of both worlds! These have a traditional gas tank plus a battery range of 20–50 miles—perfect for covering your daily commute without using a drop of gas.

DOES YOUR TRADE-IN QUALIFY?
To grab this rebate, your old vehicle must meet these specific Colorado requirements:

Operational & Titled: The vehicle must run, be currently titled in Colorado solely in your name (matching your ID), and be registered with the Colorado DMV.

Fuel Type: Must be a traditional gasoline or diesel-powered vehicle.

Clean Ownership: There can be NO liens (the car must be paid off) and it cannot have a salvage or junk title.

The "Old or High-Emitting" Rule: Your vehicle must meet ONE of these two marks:

Age: It is at least 12 years old (Model year 2014 or older for 2026 applications).

Emissions: It has failed a Colorado emissions test (any model year qualifies if it failed).
